TEG offers a an energy efficiency solution for information technology with Verdiem's SURVEYOR software. Commercial & Industrial Audits
Tailored to your interests and needs, these comprehensive commercial and industrial audits will help to identify feasible energy management projects for commercial and industrial facilities that will cash flow with energy savings; including HVAC, Envelope, Lighting, Controls and Operation, PC Power Management and Renewable Energy Sources. Feedback includes project recommendations, cost estimates, simple payback, and applicable rebates*.

For complex heating, cooling, and envelope systems, these commercial and industrial audits can be used as preliminary assessments to provide an understanding of project workability prior to engineering analysis or design.

Infrared Technology
Infrared technology is a  diagnostic tool used for predictive and preventative maintenance that uses an infrared imaging and measurement camera to observe and measure invisible infrared energy emitted from an object. Annual thermal imaging can potentially reduce commercial liability premiums as well as identify weaknesses in facilities or equipment. Our experienced staff has completed training with the Snell Group in compliance with ASNT guidelines. Feedback  includes infrared images of your facility and a report that describes existing conditions.  

Building Modeling
eQuest Building Simulation software is used by our team of experienced analysts to assess complex building systems to determine optimal systems in terms of energy usage as well as potential energy savings for renovations or new construction. Our energy modeling will provide feedback for renovation or new construction projects that will include a comparison of feasible projects, simple payback, and  applicable rebates.*

Steam Evaluations
Steam losses, whether functional, failure, coincident, or external can cost industries hundreds of thousands if not millions of dollars if left unchecked. Our steam evaluations include an in-depth inventory of your steam systems in order to identify, correct, and prevent losses as well as consultation to help you achieve zero reset and optimal performance.

Energy Sales and Use Tax Exemption Audit
Manufacturing, food service, and agricultural processes may be eligible to receive Energy Sales and Use Tax reimbursements for energy used in production from the Iowa Department of Revenue*. For eligible facilities, our blanket Energy Sales and Use Tax Exemption Audit will inventory all processing equipment and provide necessary inputs for the Refund application and Exemption Certificate. From bottling plants to commercial printing to restaurants and food production, many of our customers have realized dollar savings from these energy sales and use tax reimbursements!
