 Les Wilson served five years as sales representative for Honeywell, Inc. Duties included working with design engineers and contractors to install and maintain temperature controls and energy management systems manufactured by Honeywell, Inc.
One and one half years as business development manager for Weitz Resources, an energy savings performance contracting firm. Developed energy savings projects including conducting the initial energy savings analysis. Provided job site observations during project implementation.
Two years as owner of a temperature control / energy management systems contracting company. Designed systems for installation on large commercial projects. Oversaw all aspects of the business.
Fifteen years as a principal of The Energy Group. Duties in addition to normal business functions include: energy analysis of energy savings opportunities for commercial and institutional clients, third party program marketing (Iowa Energy Bank Program), work with utility sponsored energy efficiency programs,consulting with large energy using clients regarding energy savings opportunities and energy rates, project development and management for energy savings projects.
Les is a Certified Energy Manager by the Association of Energy Engineers.
